DeMoulin offers the complete design services of notable, creative, staff designers! Each of our staff designers will work with you and your DeMoulin representative to give your band a new “Way out of the Ordinary” look for the upcoming marching season. Services include personal consultation, a professional art rendering of your design, and a finished prototype sample of the uniform that sets your marching ensemble apart from everyone else! There is no cost for these services!

Designer Michael Gray

Michael Gray

Michael Gray's creative career includes over a decade with DeMoulin as a designer and clinician. His involvement in the visual and pageantry arts spans more than three decades in all visual capacities, from color guard designer and instructor, drill writer and program coordinator. Gray has participated in the highest levels of DCI, WGI and BOA as a designer, instructor, clinician and judge. He has served as the program coordinator for the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps, the Ensemble Caption Facilitator for Winter Guard International, and is a current Bands of America and DCI judge. His work as an artist has produced paintings that are collected worldwide and his classes on impressionism and art history are are perennial favorites with aspiring and established artists nationwide. He is represented by 3 galleries and 2 private artists’ representatives. He is currently the visual coordinator for BOA Grand National Finalist, Wando High School Band and is a highly sought consultant for marching bands nationwide. Michael is a resident of Charleston, SC and maintains Studio Michael Gray on Darrell Creek in Mount Pleasant, SC. 


Rob Depp

Rob Depp has over 35 years of experience creating visual packages for some of the nation's finest bands, including concept development, drill design, uniform, silk and prop design.  Rob has consulted on over 35 state championship programs and multiple BOA national class champions, regional champions and finalists.  Rob leverages two decades of experience in corporate brand strategy, innovation and design to develop uniform concepts that reflect the unique character of each band program.


Michael Rosales

Was born in Manila, Philippines and raised in San Francisco, where he trained extensively in Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Hip-Hop, Latin Jazz, and Color Guard. His versatility as both a performer and choreographer has made him one of the most sought-after creatives in the marching arts and entertainment industry. Michael toured nationally and internationally with the Tony and Emmy Award-winning production BLAST! as a lead performer, later serving as Choreographer Assistant for Cyberjam in London. His performance credits also include the film RENT, the Latin Grammy’s Celebration, the Latin Billboard Awards, and work with artists such as Ricky Martin, Luis Fonsi, Deborah Cox, Macy Gray, and Wisin y Yandel.

In the marching arts, Michael is a former member of the Concord Blue Devils, San Jose Raiders, and Fantasia of Riverside. He has choreographed for many of the nation’s top drum corps, including the Santa Clara Vanguard (where he served as Lead Choreographer), The Bluecoats, Carolina Crown, and The Cadets. His winter guard work includes Braddock Independent World, Paramount World, and West Broward High School World, among other nationally recognized programs. He also choreographed the 2017–2019 productions of BLAST! The Music of Disney which toured Japan.

Beyond choreography, Michael is also a costume designer for DeMoulin Bros. & Co. and has been designing for Algy by DeMoulin since 2009. He is thrilled to be part of the DeMoulin/Algy family, merging his love of movement and design to elevate performers across the country.
